Mostly jazz. I play for the moment a tune finds its shape, and for the company of other people listening for the same thing.
Traveling
I like to smell, feel, and taste new places, and the idea of working from anywhere. I keep a small map of where I have been; the rest lives in my head.
Languages
Every language is a different way of thinking. I live between Spanish and English, and I am always picking at another one.
Paintings
I can lose an afternoon in a museum. I do not paint, but I love looking closely, and slowly learning how to.
